-Every night there's a backup of all the files present in our file server. Transferring all these data across the network needs time (around 50 Gbytes per hour) and we have only part of the night at our disposition (only closed and unused files can be backed up). For these, and other reasons, at the moment we can backup only 600 Gbyte of the whole server and so we must limit the type of files stored there.
