HowTo connect your personal Laptop

In order to connect personal laptops to the local network, you have to ask to the System Administrator and must provide:

  • Name, Surname
  • Email Address
  • The MAC / Hardware Address of the computer you want to connect
  • The type of computer

The System Administrator will assign to your computer an IP address that you can use whe you are connected to the local network by a network cable. The IP Address is assigned by using the DHCP protocol, so you have to configure the network card of your laptop this way.
