<note> The faculty printers installed in the north and south section of the BC building cannot be managed centrally. If you want to use these printers you have to install the drivers by yourself in your laptop, the printer model is Xerox WorkCentre 7655/7665/7675. please refer to the pages of myprint for instructions on how to install it in your system. </note>

Where
Virtual printers are not real printers, but software simulations of physical devices. As the name suggest, they are used to send Fax or to generate Pdf files.
Using the Pdf printer you can create pdf files without need to use dedicated software applications. It's really necessary only for MS Windows users, as Linux and Apple Os X have the possibility to generate Pdf files by their own. The files generated can be downloaded from the share Pdf that you can find in the Windows Access Server iscsrv5.epfl.ch.
